Cable Jointing Supplies' range of hand woven wire cable grips is
designed for hauling power cable, telephone, fibre optic cable,
coaxial cable and winching rope through conduits, trenches and
overhead poles.
High quality galvanised steel wire is used in weaving the
individual grips. This assures the best quality for
durability and performance.
Factors such as the diameter of the grip, the tension caused
through hauling, the number of objects in the grip at one time, the
number of times the grip has been used and the attachment to the
winching rope, all contribute towards the user deciding the
effective safety of the grip. The user should be aware of
stress, misuse, and wear and tear which affect the safe working
load of the grips and effect a change sooner rather than later.
A safety factor of 3 has been calculated by Cable Jointing
Supplies when deciding on the safe working load listed on the
accompanying selection chart.
Following are the standard types of grips and their cable
applications.
* DO NOT use Cable Jointing Supplies grips for lifting
